Counseling and Assessment services are offered at a flat rate. In some circumstances we offer sliding scales based on necessity. Currently Dr. Sakuma accepts the following insurance plans:

• Regence Blue Cross/Blue Shield
• Premera Blue Cross/ Blue Shield
• Out of network (please call your company to check your coverage)

Regular Fees:

1. Initial Consultation (1.5-2 hours)  $200
2. 50 minute therapy session  $150
3. Assessment- Cost based on clinical question and tests used (time will vary).  $95/hour (interviewing/administering tests/scoring tests/interpreting tests/writing report).

• Some types of Psychological assessment are typically not covered by insurance unless the question is  deemed ‘medically necessary.’  The medical necessity qualification is sometimes attainable, through a referral from your physician but can take pre-approval from the insurance company and some waiting period while approval is sought.
